Description

Our 2023 Twin Valleys Prosecco takes fruit from both the King and Alpine Valleys. It captivates with it’s vibrant and effervescent nature. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of freshly sliced green apple, and white flowers. Accompanied by subtle hints of citrus, and lemongrass.

The initial sip reveals a refreshing burst of flavours, with crisp notes of lemon, white peach, and grapefruit intermingling harmoniously. The fine buttles dance on the palate, lively, and lean. The length of the wine is rewarding, with a light tropical back-palate of honeydew and other melon. The well-balanced acidity leads to a lingering, clean finish, leaving a crisp and bright mouthfeel.

"It's splendidly fruited and fragrant on the nose, showing ripe apricot, rockmelon, lemon peel and jasmine notes, followed by a finely textured palate offering juicy fruit flavours with crisp acidity, making it immediately approachable and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2026. July 2023."

93 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Fruit is included from both the King and Alpine Valleys and this is why the Valleys are the mecca for Prosecco in this country. Green pear, orchard apples and lemon sherbet blossom from the glass. Slices of Nashi, star fruit and golden kiwi follow. It's a basket of fruit full to the brim with a hint of chamomile tea and honeysuckle. A crisp finish, this is a perfect aperitif or bottle for celebration long into the night. Drink now and often with dancing music.

    Pairing

Our prosecco pairs very well with a variety of dishes. The acidity and refreshing bubbles makes it an excellent match for seafood, such as oysters, prawns, or scallops. Furthermore, the citrus from the wine work well with light and creamy cheese dishes, think salads or pastas finished with goat or fresh burrata (or mozzarella) cheese.

One last thing to note, our 2023 prosecco is the perfect pairing with any brunch, or early afternoon gathering! It’s paired superbly with smoked salmon, eggs benedict, fresh fruit salads, and even with delicate pastries – our prosecco is the wine to share.
